Maury County Park Facilities
Maury County Park is a 242-acre passive recreation area located in the heart of Columbia. Home of Mule Day and the Maury County Fair as well as a host of other annual events, Maury County Park (MCP) is the perfect venue for any occasion, large or small.
Pavilions & Playgrounds
In addition to the eight (8) pavilions and the Baker Building available for reservation, MCP has three playgrounds: the big, wooden playground called Kids Kingdom; the smaller playground called Jared's Dream; and a small toddler playground.

MCP has several sports fields, including Lindsey Nelson Stadium, the Columbia American Little League fields, and the Babe Ruth field.

MCP offers an extensive equestrian area with two arenas, stall barns, and the Skillington Livestock Barn.

In June 2012 , a 1-mile hiking trail and natural area was opened, and plans are in process to eventually link this trail to the existing 1 1/2-mile paved walking trail.

MCP is also home to the miniature trains of the Mid-South Live Steamers, who host meets at the park and give free rides to the public. Their 2014 schedule is posted below:
Facility reservations cannot be made over the phone; however, you can check availability by calling (931) 375-6101.
Pavilion reservations are made by the day, the cost is $30.00, and can only be done by bringing the fee (exact cash or check only) to the Parks Office located at 1018 Maury County Park Drive, Columbia, TN 38401.
