Education

The Maury County Park Hiking Trail and Natural Area provides a place for adults and kids to study nature, and it is MCP&R's hope that we can facilitate programs and events that emphasize hands-on learning activities that foster education, exploration and exercise.  MCP&R has created sample program packets with ideas, resources and supplemental curriculum-based handouts that are available for download (pdf format) below, or at the Parks Office, located at 1018 Maury County Park Drive.

If you're an educator and wish to utilize the trail or Outdoor Classroom located off the trail, please contact the Parks Office at (931) 375-6101 to schedule your field trip, event, or activity.
