MAY

May 4:  Nature Storytime at 10:30 am at the Kiwanis Shelter in MCP.  ThemeBerries! 

 May 5 - May 7: Mid-South Live Steamers will be in Maury County Park giving free rides to the public. Days and times:  May 5 from 10am-4pm; May 6 from 10am-1pm; and May 7 from 10am-4pm.  

 May 7: Trail Tales Book #3 – I See Summer – Nature Trail at MCP

 May 7Master Gardener’s Annual Plant Sale fundraiser at the Baker Building in Maury County Park. A great way to get spring going at your house! (Times TBA)

 May 7: CAB is currently hosting a 5K at Maury County Park. All registration fees go to helping children. For more information visit: http://www.active.com/columbia-tn/running/distance-running-races/maury-county-cab-2016

 May 12 – June 16:  Tai Chi in the Park. Free class at 5:30pm each Thursday at the Rotary shelter in the Park. No registration needed.

 May 14: Columbia American Little League “Run for Ball” 5k. (Details TBA)

 May 20:  Day hike to Stillhouse Hollow Falls.  All ages and abilities welcome!  Bring sack lunch.  Limited space available. Call or email to register:  (931) 375-6103 or mcpr@maurycounty-tn.gov.  

May 24 – June 28Yoga for Teens and Tweens at the Kiwanis shelter in MCP from 11 -12 each Tuesday through June 28.


JUNE

June 2 - June 4: Columbia Spring Jubilee Walking Horse Show in Maury County Park. (Details TBA)

 June 4Trail Tales Book #4: Eating the Alphabet – Nature Trail at MCP

 June 4:  National Trails Day! Guided hike at Chickasaw Trace Park from 10am – Noon.  Limited space. Call or email to register:  (931) 375-6103 or mcpr@maurycounty-tn.gov.  #lets hike!

 June 4:  Field Day at the Park!  Join in the fun as we celebrate the Summer Reading Program kickoff with Maury County Public Library!  Lots of games, activities and fun stuff!  11 am – 3pm at the Bridle & Saddle Shelter in Maury County Park.

 June 8:  Nature Storytime at Kiwanis Shelter in MCP at 10:30am. Theme: Keep America Beautiful! 

 June 15-29:  Find and make art with natural materials.  Three (3) Colors of Nature classes for Ages 9-12 at Kiwanis shelter in MCP from 11:00am-Noon.  All materials provided.  Limited space.  Register by calling (931) 375-6103 or mcpr@maurycounty-tn.gov

 June 17 – Hike the bluffs of the Duck River at Cheeks Bend! Limited space available. Call or email to register:  (931) 375-6103 or mcpr@maurycounty-tn.gov

 June 25 - 26: MARC Field Day 2016 will be held once again in the Maury County Park at the Bridle & Saddle Club’s Shelter (Details TBA)
