Mission:

To provide automated data processing services and support to internal departments that serve the residents of Maury County.

One of the department’s primary responsibilities is to assist the Purchasing Office with research and acquisition of computer equipment for all departments, while maintaining strict adherence to the current State and County guidelines for all purchases.  Additionally, the department ensures that technology equipment and services procured for the County are adequate for the task intended and the best value for funds expended.  Training personnel and upgrades to current hardware and systems are always a priority as required.  Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the County Executive or at the request of the County Commission.
