Criminal Investigations Unit

 

 

           

Text Box: The Sheriff’s Department Patrol Unit has 4 shifts.  Each shift has 1 Shift Sergeant that supervises 5 deputies.  Therefore 6 deputies patrol approximately 615 square miles in Maury County per shift.  The Patrol Unit falls under the direct supervision of the Patrol Lieutenant.
There are 2 day shifts and 2 night shifts.  Deputies on patrol work a 12 hour day.  Deputies patrol their assigned zone.  Maury County is separated into 5 zones.
